This is the page for the working in progress fighting game based on Furcadia's Elysian City. All sprites and information are tentative. If you would like to participate in the creation of this or the NESRPG games, just give the author of the page a notice. Chances are most of you already know me, so I won't give an email just yet.

Legend of Elysia: Showdown (tentative title) is a 2D side scrolling fighting game in the vein of Street Fighter or King of Fighters. It will feature 8+ characters plus cameos from most of everyone in the Elysian cast that can be worked up in proper schedule.

• The game is still in progress, but the game's pace should be fast but not kinetic, more in line with the likes of Street Fighter Alpha 3 than the Vs. series or Guilty Gear. Some fighters will be armed, others won't.
• The game will feature ally characters, both who can be summoned with button presses and who may actually fight beside them during the match like Galford's dog Poppy from Samurai Shodown.
  
• The music maybe MIDI simply to make for easier downloading, but any full versions of the game will include MPSs in either original compositions or orchestrated works from a variety of artists.
• The sprite work are edits so far, but don't expect them to play like their original counterparts at all. The better I get, the more original frames will be added to their animations/move lists.
• I intend on fitting as many characters together as I can but this is a major project and even 8 characters means at -least- 2400 frames of animation, plus the backgrounds and cameo characters I hope to include. If your character isn't a main fighter, don't fret, maybe it will be in a later update!
• There is no deadline on this game. Even folks with experience with this sort of thing can take 6 months or a year on a single character. So bear with me on the time frames.
